Blueberry Mango Smoothie

A delicious and nutritious start to the day - Packed full of protein this smoothie is a favourite in my household.

This is a great way of sneaking in that spinach at every meal! Most of my clients know I'm a big fan of the green stuff.. it is known for it's remarkable abilities to restore energy, increase vitality and improve the quality of the blood.. mainly due to being rich in iron. It's an excellent source of vitamins and minerals and one of the finest vegetable sources recommended in cholesterol controlling and weight reduction programs.

This smoothie can be made year round, frozen berries and mango can be found at the supermarket when they are not in season.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup baby spinach

  • 1 scoop of vegan vanilla protein powder (optional)

  • 1 cup mango chunks

  • ½ cup blueberries

  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 small banana

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup ice

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender, I use my trusty NutriBullet! Blend until smooth, enjoy!
